On Long Island with these incidents today

The SCPD reported a dead body has been recovered in Blue Point. The incident was reported at the Patchogue Bay around 6am this morning when calls came in from a victim being drowned.

Today a press statement was announced by the Suffolk County DA reporting a take of gangs wanted for stolen autos and grand larcenies. More than ten suspects were taken into custody and released after charges due to the state bail reform law.

As for fire incidents, Suydam Lane in Bayport reported a house fire around 1pm. Heavy fire at a home in Central Islip on W Willow Street around 12:30pm. A house fire in Port Jefferson around 9am.

As for Nassau County, the only major incident so far was a driver lost control and hit multiple stores in Plainview. This is on Old Country Road by Plainview Road around 10am. EMS transported all the injured to local hospitals.

As for fire, around 6am, fire broke out at a home in Bethpage. This is on Ellen Street.
