Off duty sanitation worker busted for striking a scooter in Long Island City

Police arrested Patrick Malfetto, 46 while off duty from sanitation department being on the sidewalk knocked a man on the scooter. It happened today morning around 9am on Crescent Street in Long Island City. Police didn't disclose details whether both knew each other. The 37 year old man on the scooter was taken to a local hospital with injuries. Malfetto was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, assault and harassment.
