Off duty cop busted for DWI in Jackson Heights

Police reported an off duty NYPD cop identified as John Riquelme has been arrested and charged with DWI. It happened around 1:30am on Northern Blvd and 90th Street in Jackson Heights. He was also charged with leaving the scene of accident after side swiping another vehicle and taking off. Another charge was refusing to take a breath test. He was arrested the next block when the driver flagged down a patrol vehicle on Northern Blvd. Riquelme was suspended without pay pending investigation.
