Numbers rising in burglaries anything goes on northeast Queens

The NYPD reported rising burglaries continue to plague northeast Queens. Last week, there were 11 burglaries in Little Neck alone while Bayside was the lowest compared to Bellerose.

The new location making police presence is Flushing within the vicinity of Kissena Park.

Many local residents say the suspects are the same description from the police handouts who were arrested previously.

Other suspects are going door to door ringing to track down which homes seem empty as per Ring camera alerts.

Police say the targets are newly constructed homes and seniors in the area where jewelry is stored more than cash making perp's prime targets.

For this year alone, there were 144 burglaries in the vicinity and that number is expected to reach 250 during summer.

Residents are advised to stay alert.
