Notes from the part 2 of the second Democratic debate

Many were anticipating a second showdown between Joe Biden and Kamla Harris where both had to realign their replies. Media insiders stated Cory Booker and Tulsi Gabbard did that job. Booker delivered a sharp nail on the coffin to Biden while Gabbard silenced Harris. On healthcare, more than 28 million Americans, about 9% of the population went without health care coverage in 2017 so to cover all, it will cost $30 trillion, 30 times more than the defense budget. Biden responded to de Blasio and Harris, "And I don't know what math you do in New York, I don't know what math you do in California. But I tell you, that's a lot of money." On border crossing, they all changed mind its illegal. Booker had this quote, "An unlawful crossing is an unlawful crossing... but it's the criminal courts that are giving Donald Trump the ability to violate human rights." Biden quoted, "The fact of the matter is ... if you cross the border illegally, you should be able to be sent back. It's a crime". The biggest fact find came from Andrew Yang, "If you go to a factory here in Michigan, you will not find wall-to-wall immigrants, you will find wall-to-wall robots and machines." Yang is right that robots have displaced more workers than immigrants. As for the rest, they all responded to rebuttals. The biggest confusion was Mayor de Blasio. In his closing remark, he quoted, Tax the wealthy, taxthehell dot com which is a soliciting place for donation in a desperate attempt to the next debate. In this debate, de Blasio implied he is a socialist aligned with Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. He was heckled with "Fire Pantaleo" who were removed from the audience. Political pundits stated this is de Blasio's last debate as he is nowhere near 130,000 donors t meet the requirement. Another name they mentioned is Gabbard.
