No more tolls for Cross Bay Bridge for Queens residents

Starting next year, Queens residents with private vehicles and EZ pass registered to a Queens address won't have to pay the toll on the Cross Bay Bridge. Under the current program, the toll discounted at $1.41 with E-Z pass will be rebated. This came after MTA received the proposal from two local politicians, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato and Joe Addabo. The only bad news is drivers can gets fine if there is no $1.41 in their E-Z Pass account which will cover some of the costs for MTA.
