No more free bus fare programs for you all

After demanding free bus services by the socialist members of the Assembly, Senate and City Council, the program was a disaster and will be discontinued on September 1, 2024.

The original plan according to the MTA was to use less cars and more buses with riders but that didn't go well despite local elected officials crying for the pilot program.

The pilot program made a loss of $12.3 million taxpayer funds.

A service announcement will be issued for the following line in Queens, the Q4 along with M116 in Manhattan, B60 in Brooklyn and S46 in Staten Island of discontinuance.

The MTA is facing a major financial crunch after congestion pricing was halted by the Governor and in 2022, lost $700 million from fare evasions.
