No fine but tow for trucks on Union Turnpike

The NYC Mayor's Office confirmed after listening to neighbor's complaints that tractor trailers taking up parking on Union Turnpike under the Grand Central Parkway will be towed instead of issuing more fines. A timetable is expected around the fall season.

The NYC DOT also announced residents can complain to 311 of tractor trailers parking on residential streets. Then enforcement will be done in a timely manner. A new sign of no standing will be posted on Union Turnpike soon. This means those parking under the overpass during snow will not be allowed.
