Nine done now legal one in Bayside

For the last two weeks, the NYS and NYC sheriffs went full force in NYC shutting down stores operating cannabis dispensaries illegally. The lone one on Union Turnpike and Springfield Blvd in Oakland Gardens shut down along with another one near 188 Street in Fresh Meadows. The Northern Blvd had three locations shut down.

Today, a legal cannabis dispensary opened in Bayside and this is on Bell Blvd by 42nd Avenue. It's called NY Elite Cannabis with ribbon cutting and balloons. The funding was arranged as part of NY Cannabis Social Equity Investment Fund.

Nine locations have been shut down in northeast Queens by the sheriff and legal ones will be announced by the state for all.
