Next shooting incident in South Richmond Hill

The NYPD closed off 111th Street reporting a male shot. This is near Atlantic Avenue in South Richmond Hill. EMS is working to transport the male who was shot to a local hospital who is now unresponsive.

ESU recovered shell casings.

Police say the suspect took off on foot toward unknown direction.

Local residents are advised to stay indoors.

Ongoing investigation.

Update - The male died from the wounds now classified as a homicide investigation.
