New season of the TV show Survivor featuring teacher from Floral Park

Tommy Sheehan of Long Beach who is a teacher in the Floral Park Bellerose school district will be one of the star in the CBS show, Survivor. Sheehan, 26 year old stated in an interview posted on CBS's show website, "I am on the show to do something most people dream about. I am there to win the game and get the million dollars. Those are my only motivations. If I happen to make people smile and help them escape whatever hardships are going on in their lives for an hour a week, that is a huge plus too."

The show will be on CBS at 8pm on September 25.
