New public library announcement for Little Neck and Douglaston area

Today a ground breaking ceremony was done to announce a new library for Douglaston and Little Neck branch. This is on Northern Blvd near Little Neck Parkway. This is the next development all set to demolish to make way. The date of completion has not been announced as of yet. After the demolition, a mobile van will be parked outside for continued services.

This is part of the $27 million taxpayer funds to expand public library programs in Queens alone.
