New number for mental health crisis

Starting tomorrow, 988 will be the new number to call instead of 911 or the 10 digits listed for mental health crisis.

The calls will be answered by live people offering all kinds of help. Also, 988 will be the new number for National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

The line is for nationwide and not regional or local for all to call.
