New library opened at Far Rockaway and already parents are furious

The Far Rockaway section of Queens opened a new library today with ribbon cutting.today. This is at 1637 Central Avenue.

This is the new state of the art library located at the intersection of Mott and Central Avenues.

The budget to build this library was $39 million dollars from taxpayers.

While browsing around, a local found a book that's deemed inappropriate and posted on X feed.

Now more parents are reporting a backlash demanding to remove obscene related books from the library.

Since today was the grand opening, no one was available to respond to the incident.
