New York State Police arrest massena woman following menacing complaint

On October 11, 2026, New York State Police arrested Jade E. Lagoy, 27, of Massena, for Menacing in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.

At approximately 6:12 p.m., troopers responded to Highland Road in the town of Massena for a menacing complaint. An investigation determined Lagoy and the victim were involved in an argument regarding hunting and the discharge of a firearm, which escalated into a physical altercation. During the incident, Lagoy allegedly threatened the victim and struck them in the face.
