New Hyde Park purse snatcher photo released

Police released the picture of wanted suspect for snatching a purse of a 55 year old female victim in New Hyde Park. The incident happened on July 23 around 9:45am on Central Blvd near Jericho Turnpike. The suspect is male, black, about 6 feet and 200lbs. The victim was walking when the perp came from behind and stole the purse that was attached to the shoulder. Ongoing investigation.
