Nassau cops investigating puppies abandoned

On Wednesday night, the NCPD received calls of loud dogs barking in the area in East Rockaway. This is on Centre Avenue and the incident was reported around 10pm when cops arrived to see 14 dogs stuffed inside crates in the back of an alley.

All the puppies were taken to Hempstead Animal Control where they will be checked well before announcing the next step including adoption.

More investigations are underway and details will be provided if available soon.
