Nassau County introduced a new flag

The Nassau County Executive Laura Curran in a press statement announced a new flag. The flag will alert civilians if sharks are seen and will be placed there in the beaches. The flag is blue to honor sharks with the diagram of such an image. The flag will start at Nickerson Beach to make all aware a shark was seen or there. So far Nassau County witnesses 26 sharks unofficially. Besides shark patrol and flags, more work is being done.
