NYSP investigates reports of tampered halloween candy

Halloween Candy Alert:

The New York State Police at Sidney are investigating reports of tampered Halloween candy containing razor blades. The affected candy was reportedly collected in the village of Bainbridge, Chenango County on Halloween night.

Safety Precautions:

To ensure child safety, parents are urged to:

- Double-check Halloween candy collected by children

- Inspect wrappers and contents carefully

- Be vigilant for signs of tampering

Immediate Action:

If you suspect tampered candy:

- Contact the New York State Police at Sidney immediately.

- Do not allow children to consume potentially contaminated candy.

The New York State Police  request any information that may aid in identifying the responsible individuals.
