NYPD seeks publics help to find suspects in daylight armed robbery in Queens

The New York Police Department is on the lookout for two individuals connected to an armed robbery in Queens. The NYPD Crimestoppers unit issued a social media alert, seeking the public's assistance in apprehending the suspects involved in the crime that took place on Friday afternoon.

According to the NYPD Crimestoppers' post, the incident occurred on Friday at around 4:25 P.M., near the intersection of 104 Street and 38 Avenue, within the jurisdiction of the 115 Precinct. The victim, a 27-year-old male, was sitting in his parked vehicle, when two individuals on a moped made their approach. Subsequently, one assailant dismounted, entered the victim's vehicle through the front passenger door, brandished a firearm, and demanded money.

In a display of forceful opportunism, the perpetrator relieved the victim of $1,000 before both suspects made their escape, heading northbound on 104 Street towards 37 Avenue on the moped. This brazen act of theft occurred in broad daylight, underscoring the audacity of the criminals who conducted the robbery.
