NYPD activity in Bellerose due to a funeral

The NYPD issued a statement today of a funeral of a member of service. Traffic notes to keep handy as of 9am.

Westbound Q36 buses are detoured due to an NYPD funeral procession at 239th St and Jamaica Ave.

Stops from Jericho Tpke and Braddock Ave to Hillside Ave and 212th St will not be made.

While detoured, stops will be made along Braddock Ave and Hillside Ave as requested.

Chopper is also hovering above.

The funeral took place in the morning.
