NYC mayor loves public school kids

He is on his knees praying for FDA approval for Pzifer to vax 12, 13, 14 and 15 year olds. The company filed for emergency use authorization and FDA is close to approval. With new school protocols starting Monday, the policy change is making it more difficult for schools to completely shut down. This means the 24 hour closures are no longer in effect. Now if there are two or three unrelated COVID cases in a school, the building will remain open while the affected classes will go remote for 10 days, and random testing will double to 40% of staff and students. Closures would only be implemented if four or more unrelated cases could be traced back to the school. With the vax approval heading for 12, 13, 14 and 15, the mayor is working on the new protocol.
