NYC knows floodwatch without prevention

Please be patient. NYC is broke.

The heavy flash flood and thunderstorm yesterday evening to night resulted in many damages around NYC and the world saw it in the media.

Due to one party rule, please do not question the MTA where commuters were trapped in the underground flood or DOT with road floods.

With infrastructure alone, the budget is estimated to be around $150 billion according to the NY Comptroller’s Office.

Millions of NYC residents called 311 of flood inside their apartments including basements.

According to NYS Mesonet, a network of 127 weather stations, heavy rainfall and rainfall rates exceeding the sewer capacity in NYC suggests flooding may be occurring near the Manhattan/Queens/Brooklyn triple point. This alone will cost taxpayers around $30 billion.

With no oversight hearing on MTA or DOT, New Yorkers will need to be happy and deal with it by preparing for the next storm.

Meanwhile, the congestion pricing is bringing lots of money for the state but where does it go? None of your business and get back to work.
