NYC is pleading residents to house loving families

Not so fast but details were obtained for residents except those willing to house migrants.

After announcing $4,000 taxpayer funds to migrants to leave the shelters to find a place on their own, five points were not disclosed to the residents willing to take them.

The first one is after rent and deposit is paid, migrants are on their own to pay ongoing rent and if not paid, residents can file with the court. If more than the required migrants move which is illegal, then the resident can file with the building department which will issue summons to the homeowner. If migrants complain for non-repairs, then the housing preservation dept can issue summons to the homeowner. The last two homeowners are responsible for disorderly migrants involving neighbors and the best one, cases between homeowner and migrants are not the priority for non-payment so a minimum stay of six months is in place.

Although the message states the taxpayer funds will help migrants to move from shelter to permanent housing, all other "what if's" are not disclosed to the homeowner or building owners.

However, if the migrants returns back to shelters, then the payment will not resume and be revoked.

This program is under Asylee Moveout Assistance (AMA) with new staff and heavy payrolls to keep the city running.

The $4k can be used for one of the following but not for all.

Two months rent, one month rent and deposit, supplies or moving costs.

The city, state and federal will continue to allocate more funds for migrants. For NYC, it will reach $12 billion soo and people need to work longer hours and more enforcements to be added to fine people to collect to cover costs.

Remember the golden rules - If you don't pay the mortgage, foreclosure. If you don't pay the property taxes, auction your home. If you don't pay the utilities, meter will be taken away. If you don't pay the water, lien will be added to auction your home.

Enjoy.
