NYC is not on the list for Amazon s job fair to hire 30 000

On September 17, Amazon will have job fairs in 6 cities and NYC is not one of them. They are Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, Seattle, and Arlington, Virginia. Jobs range from programming, data centers, retail stores, pick and pack customer orders and more including entry level positions. Most New Yorkers living in Long Island City where Amazon was supposed to have second headquarter is still reeling from the loss while others are relieved. The protests mainly called for higher rent but continue to hike in LIC and many small retail fronts are closing doors for good as well as tenants leaving to other neighborhoods.
