NYC government is broke in need of pay hike from taxpayers

Wow, the NYC government is going to be numero uno in the world and you all must work long hours without complaining.

Tomorrow, the NYC Council will vote on a pay hike since everything is expensive in NYC. It’s only $24,000 raised to $172,500 from the current $148,000 which is not enough to survive. Soon, that number will be over $200,000, maybe one day a cool million which won’t be enough in the future with inflation.

Will the taxpayers keep up? Time will tell.

The current Mayor is least inclined to sign it but the City Council majority can override to make it law anyway.

The pay hike is also included for each borough president, comptroller and the public advocate. Since the jobs are part time and ceremonial, the perks are phenomenal with additional expenses so if anyone wants to run for an office, forget education and focus on acting jobs. People love following followers.
