NYC building dept shut down mall in Flushing

NYC mayor's office is going full force on businesses for violations related to COVID-19. Today afternoon, sheriff alerted the NYC building dept of violations related to COVID in Flushing while driving around. The city shut down the New World Mall on Main Street after seeing violations including the food court. Earlier today, multiple sheriffs were driving on Union Turnpike to enforce and no violations.
New World Mall is where the mayor and the city council speaker went last February 14 to tell all to go out and enjoy what Flushing has to offer when the coronavirus was blooming in NYC.
