NYC budget without details as of yet

The NYC mayor held a rally with the FY 25 executive budget at a tune of $111.6 billion. The budget includes many programs from nonprofits to gun violence and retail thefts.

The only cut is the public library budget by $58.7 million.

The city is still broke with outyear budget gap of $5.5 billion for the next two years and will reach $5.7 billion by FY28.

Meanwhile, $2.5 billion from the state budget has been allocated for the migrant crisis in NYC.

So far, 192,000 migrants have been well taken care of with love funded by taxpayers who must continue to work more hours.

The city already spent $4.3 billion and the expected numbers are $10 billion for FY23 to FY25 pleasing many nonprofits servicing migrants bleeding taxpayer's money.

People need to work more and more to pay city taxes to cover many costs. Also, in the summer, schools are suspending operations in NYC in order to pivot to housing and processing migrants.
