NYC Council Members voted in favor of outdoor dining

After two long years, the City Council voted in favor of an outdoor dining bill to be permanent in NYC. The only difference is no roofs to outdoor dining allowed. After a court ruling when residents took the Mayor to court that open restaurants are illegal, now looking forward to going back to court. The vote to have a permanent Open Restaurants Program was 34 in favor, 11 against. The Mayor can’t sign it without the court ruling in favor of the City Council bill so it’s wait and watch.
