NYC Council Members took knee to protest

Sixteen members of NYC Council took knee today, September 27 the right to protest against racial injustice and in favor of NFL players. One big surprise to many was Fresh Meadows own Rory Lanceman. The other Queens members are Julessa Ferrara, Daniel Dromm, Jimmy Van Bramer, Daneek Miller, Donovan Richards and Antonio Reynoso. Also on the same day afternoon when the Pledge of Allegiance was conductCity Council member Jumaane Williams (D-Brooklyn) said, "Protesting is probably the most American thing that one can do.
