NYC Campaign Finance released 17 3 million to 61 candidates

Today, the NYC Campaign Finance released $17.3 million in taxpayers funds to 61 candidates for the upcoming elections.

The matching funds are distributed based on the small donations candidates collected from local residents. The names includes Tony Avella, Felicia Singh, etc. The match is 6 to 1 so every dollar is raised, the campaign finance add another 6 from taxpayer's coffer.
