Murder in Howard Beach attempted one in Corona

Last night around 11:30pm, the NYPD were called to a home in Howard Beach reporting a dispute turned into stabbing and death. Police confirmed this was a domestic violence involving the father and son. The medical examiner transported the body of the father, 76 years old to conduct an autopsy. Police arrested the son and charges are pending.

Around 10:30pm this morning, police presence increased inside the local park, Park of the Americas in Corona after a stabbing incident. A victim was stabbed in the vicinity of the park after calls came in from locals in the area. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in critical condition. Police are still working on apprehending the suspect.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
