Murder charge for the homicide incident in Kew Garden Hills

The Queens DA's Office announced murder charge on a tenant who lived in an apartment in Kew Garden Hills for the death of a super today.

The super was reaching out to a tenant who has not paid back rent in the sum of $24,000 for years.

The incident was reported on Tuesday around 5pm when the super was not heard by the management and called 911.

Further investigation confirmed the body of the super was found inside the tenant's apartment under the bed stuffed in a garbage bag.

The medical examiner confirmed the cause of death was homicidal violence.

The investigation continues.
