Multiple victims robbed of clothings in QV

The NYPD reported multiple victims were robbed of clothings in Queens Village and its vicinity.

According to the local precincts, clothing donations especially coats did not meet the sufficient criteria to the required needs.

One victim was assaulted during resistance on Braddock Avenue near Winchester Blvd. EMS treated the victim on the scene.

Many clothing stores including Burlington have coats chained and locked to prevent thefts.

Local communities are advising residents to drop off clothes and coats to the precincts or the fire stations.

Some of the residents also stated clothing drop bin boxes had all the clothes missing.

Police stated this is not an investigative matter unless weapons or assault with injuries are involved.
