Multiple thefts reported at GameStop in New Hyde Park

Police were called to GameStop located inside the Lake Success Shopping Center in New Hyde Park on Saturday, December 9 around 9pm reporting thefts by multiple suspects. From the surveillance pics, police described the perps as 16 to 18 year olds inside the store were picking up items and placing them inside their backpacks. When the manager attempted to approach, they all took off toward unknown direction. Reported one 16 year old in custody but not confirmed. The investigation is ongoing.
