Multiple shots fired in Glen Oaks

Police were called to 260th Street and 74th Avenue on Friday, December 15 around 1:30pm reporting of shots fired. A witness gave vehicle description of a 4 door Nissan Maxima black color parked by the public park in Glen Oaks shooting at another vehicle double parked. The Nissan took off toward northbound to Northern State Parkway eastbound. Nassau County police were alerted and stopped the vehicle on Sherman Avenue in New Cassel. Police also reported another shot was fired on Little Neck Parkway when the driver of other vehicle was chasing but not confirmed. Several residents stated drug dealing was the factor but not confirmed also. The investigation is ongoing.
