Multiple people trapped on the NSP westbound

Heavy rescue activity on the Northern State Parkway westbound reporting a large tree fell toward a moving vehicle. This is by Exit 29 in Roslyn Heights in Nassau County. Police have all lanes closed for the moment.

ESU is working to remove all involved.

Delays on the eastbound due to onlookers.

Firefighters are also working on the scene.

Chopper notified for transport.

Avoid the route for now.
