Multiple people targeted for thefts in the vicinity of the Queens border stretched all over

Police reported two women were targeting people with jewelry and then snatching them by running into a getaway vehicle driven by a male suspect who is on the lookout. On Hillside Avenue between Winchester Blvd and Langdale Street in Floral Park, 6 people were targeted. On Union Turnpike by 255 Street in Glen Oaks, Both are in the vicinity of temples. 4 people were targeted after people stated an SUV approached them setting up a conversation to snatch jewelry. 3 incidents reported on Braddock Avenue in Bellerose.

Every incident has victims approach the vehicle and then the suspects remove jewelry.

The suspects are Asian Indians according to the people involved in Glen Oaks. Also, both women used non-English language to strike up conversations such as asking for directions.

The other two locations are Richmond Hill and Flushing vicinity including Whitestone and College Point which reported over 30 people targeted. Police advise all not to near the vehicle or the suspects if called but walk away or call 911.

Two women in the Flushing, Whitestone and College Point vicinity are Romanian suspects according to police.

Also, downtown Flushing by Roosevelt Avenue reported robberies from purses to watches from female victims and the suspects are males, black according to police.

For Richmond Hill, police released the surveillance picture which is same for most similar incidents in Queens including Floral Park and Glen Oaks according to those involved.

As of 2018, 2.6 million in NYC has arrest records and the Clean Slate Act to wipe their records has failed in the state session. Another session is scheduled in the fall and will be introduced by the newly elected members to re-try.
