Multiple locations in Quees closed due to credible threats

Heavy police activity on 35th Avenue in Jackson Heights reporting two people were taken to local hospitals after suspicious substance was absored by hands during a transaction from the local post office. This is by 91st Street. Also, the post office is closed.

In Jamaica, York College has been evacuated due to a threat. Classes are now remote and all buidings are closed.

Police are now checking for other CUNY locations for threats.

The NYPD has not issued a statement on the cellular outage of various mobile phone companies which occurred around 3:30am this morning.
