Multiple homes damaged by two separate fires in Queens

The FDNY reported heavy fire at two locations resulting in damages to homes in South Ozone Park and Queens Village.

The South Ozone Park incident was reported around 2:30am on Lincoln Street near 116th Avenue.

This morning around 10am, Hillside Avenue in Queens Village was closed due to three homes on fire. This is by 213th Street near the Clearview Expressway. As of now, Hillside Avenue is closed in both directions.

EMS reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation at both locations.
