Multiple assaults in Glen Oaks

Police were called to Glen Oaks reporting multiple people were assaulted. The latest incident reported on Little Neck Parkway and 74th Avenue when a male attempted to assault a woman walking her dog around 6:30am today. Another female was assaulted while waiting for the bus in the same vicinity.

Several residents stated it's been going on for a while in the same area with harassment, assaults and thefts.

According to police, if the perp is EDP or homeless, they will be taken to local hospitals for observation and then alert the state or nonprofit group for the next task. Most are released back to the same area.

A woman ran out and snapped a picture taken today after calling the police.
