Move here and there now mixed with migrants and homeless in NYC

The NYC Mayor’s Office stated all shelter operations starting June 2026 will be given full control back to the Dept of Homeless Services.

Also, by December 31, more shelters housing migrants and hotels will come to an end before President elect Trump takes office.

As of today, 47,000 plane tickets have been issued to migrants to travel anywhere outside of NY to their choice of Denver, Chicago, Los Angeles etc.

Meanwhile, according to NY Post, the Biden admin quietly loosening immigration policies before Trump takes office — including letting migrants skip ICE check-ins in NYC.

As for Creedmoor in Bellerose where over thousands of migrants are located, the Governor’s Office stated enforcement will be minimized until new programs announced in the coming weeks to help them with housing once City of Yes passes. The date of final vote for City of Yes is December 5 which will cost the taxpayers a cool $5 billion for the first part and then more with vouchers.

As of now it's $4,000 a month for housing voucher per migrant and the city is working around the clock to find suitable locations with taxpyer funds.

This is a growing service for NYC with perks to all activists involved to live well.
