Morenci Lane is pleading for cops in Douglaston

Local residents of Morenci Lane which is making a name for the most target from burglaries to larcenies demand more police presence especially at night time. This is near the Horace Harding Expressway and Marathon Parkway in Douglaston.

Beside burglaries and larcenies, police reported increasing crime on property thefts.

Unlike Jamaica Estates and Hollis Hills that hired their own security patrols driving around, Little Neck is under discussion but not Douglaston. Little Neck reported robbery of seniors targeting jewelry in the vicinity of Horace Harding Expressway and Little Neck Parkway.

Forest Hills is also under discussion to add security patrols.

For northeast Queens, Bayside continues to plague with increasing crimes with the most victims followed by Bellerose and Glen Oaks.
