More than 35 arrested as part of heroin trade in Long Island

Route 110 - The 15 mile connection between Nassau and Suffolk, police arrested more than 35 people for heroin trade. Nassau County DA's office stated its one of the largest bust for drug trade. A press statement will be issued today evening. Police also recovered guns, rifles and several vehicles during the arrests. It was a nine months investigation. Police reported the trade generated over $50,000 a week by distributing around delis, malls, gas stations, eateries and motels. All are charged with various crimes. Reported 7pm.
