More constructions are being done to expand ferry service in NYC

Mayor di Blasio announced four more docks are under construction for ferry services. Four new locations are announced. They are Corlears Hook, East 90th Street, Stuyvesant Cove on the East River and at Clason Point Park in the Soundview Section of the Bronx. New docks, utilities, security gates and signage will be displayed when two location, the Bronx to Manhattan and Lower East Side ferry launches in the summer of 2018. The mayor's office are also reviewing additional locations in Queens especially northeast Queens to connect riders to Long Island.
