Mineola couple busted for beating dogs to death

Jessica Cunzman and Ellie Knoller were cuffed by Nassau County police and charged with killing two dogs and seriously injuring another one. They were arrested today and Nassau County DA's office reported both adopted a male Shepherd on February 8 from an adoption agency and one week later died of kidney rupture. The they brought a golden doodle and also died from bruises. The third dog survived with broken bones, ribs and fractures. Both are charged with animal cruelty. pic from NCPD,
