Media advisory injured trooper walk out in Nassau County

On October 30, New York State Trooper Thomas Mascia was shot while attempting to help who he believed was a disabled motorist on the Southern State Parkway. Today his fellow Troopers and law enforcement officers will honor him with a “Walk Out” upon his release from the hospital. The “Walk Out” will be held at Nassau University Medical Center’s Carmen Ave entrance as he is discharged from the hospital. Media is invited to attend
