McDonald s brought back Shamrock Shake to continue its support to their houses

On February 21, McDonald's brought back Shamrock Shake, a drink celebrating St Patrick's Day that will support a porition of its sales to Ronald McDonald Houses around the country including the location in New Hyde Park. The drink was launched in the 1970's to raise funds to buy the first Ronald McDonald House and the tradition continues. The drink will continue until March 17 when nationwide celebrates St Patrick's Day. The house provides temporary housings for parents whose children stays in the hospital with cancer.
