Mayor says the city is safe but Commissioner says otherwise

The NYC Mayor says the city is safe and still the greatest for all. The NYPD Commissioner says no it's not.

The NYPD released weekly Compstat showing murder is high but the Mayor says no. Same with the rest except burglary due to cold weather. Gloves are expensive these days and most victims breaking into homes can't even afford one.

With 24 days left, the Mayor's only aim is Biden's endorsement and nothing else. The Mayor rarely goes out as he is busy packing up heading to Park Slope home.

The Commissioner says crime in NYCHA is currently driven by domestic violence and felony assaults. Domestic violence can be a difficult one to target as shootings are down in the public housing complexes. However, subways are at the highest with people getting robbed by victims around the clock. Almost all victims are back in the subways without bails pending court dates if arraigned.
