Mayor s Office won t respond to Glen Oaks deal

Multiple sources have stated the city bought the former Jewish Center located on Union Turnpike and 255th Street in Glen Oaks for $5 million.

The plan is to convert the location into migrant shelter housing people from the open border down south.

The Mayor’s Office won’t respond nor will the local City Council member Linda Lee. Also, local community activists are tight lipped refusing to say anything.

This is next to the local fire station, Engine 251 and the never ending finish up SNAP senior center on the corner.

Many residents of Glen Oaks are outraged over the message after hearing from the community members this morning.
